    Experimental Study on Comprehensive Recovery of Multi-metal Associated Gold Concentrate in a Gold Smelter in Henan Province

    • Gold concentrate of a gold smelter in Henan Province contains copper, lead, zinc and other associated elements. During the cyanide leaching process, the presence of copper makes the consumption of sodium cyanide large, the cyanide leaching rate of gold reduced, and the production cost increased. With the process of lime inhibiting pyrite and preferential flotation of copper minerals, the concentrate yield is 7.93%, copper grade is 12.54%, copper recovery rate is 89.26%, gold grade is 504.92 g/t, and gold recovery rate is 87.95%, realizing the effective recovery of copper minerals. The concentrate can be sold as copper concentrate, and the tailings can be cyanided to extract gold, which can realize the comprehensive recovery of valuable associated elements.
