    Research Status and Prospect of the Mechanism of Metal Ions in the Flotation Process

    • Objective Due to the addition of floating agents, mineral water, the solubility of minerals and the release of fluid parcels, many metal ions are inevitable in flotation. These metal ions are adsorbed on the surface of the mineral through physical or chemical adsorption, thereby changing the surface properties of the mineral surface. Some metal ions will directly change the pH value of the ore or consume flotation agents. Therefore, the metal ions in the slurry have a significant impact on the flotation process. Method&Result Through the existing system summary and induction, taking metal ions as research objects, this article explains the interaction mechanism of metal ions and mineral surfaces in detail, as well as the impact of metal ions on flotation efficiency, Conclusion which can provide a reference for the research and application of metal ions in the floation action mechanism.
