    Metallurgical Recovery of a High Sulfur Gold Mine in Shandong Province

    • ObjectiveTo achieve efficient recovery of gold from high sulfur gold resources, Methodprocess mineralogical analysis was conducted on a high sulfur gold mine in Shandong, followed by flotation and cyanide leaching experiments. Result Grades of Au and S were 3.31 g/t and 11.52%, respectively. The content of other valuable elements was relatively low, and gold mainly existed in the form of the silver gold ore. When the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 65%, butyl xanthate and ammonium dibutyl dithiophosphate were used as collectors, and 2# oil was used as foaming agent. The optimal flotation conditions for closed-circuit test resulted in a flotation concentrate with a gold grade of 41.53 g/t and a gold recovery rate of 94.23%. The leaching test was conducted on the concentrate, with a gold leaching rate of 94.22% and a cyanide residue gold grade of only 2.40 g/t. ConclusionThe test research achieved good metallurgical technology indicators.
