    Exploration of the Beneficiation Process of a Complex Tungsten Ore and the Comprehensive Utilization of Tailings in Inner Mongolia

    • Objective The mineral composition of the tungsten ore in Inner Mongolia is complex. Its metallic minerals are mainly scheelite and wolframite, and its non-metallic mineral is mainly fluorite. In the ore, the content of scheelite is slightly higher than that of wolframite, and gangue minerals have a huge interference with the recovery of tungsten minerals. In order to achieve the efficient recovery of scheelite & wolframite and comprehensively utilize the associated valuable component fluorite in the tailings of tungsten selection, Method this thesis has conducted a detailed experimental study on this ore. Finally, the technological process of "desulfurization - tungsten ore mixed flotation - fluorite flotation" was determined. Result It can obtain a mixed tungsten concentrate with WO3 grade of 63.52% and WO3 recovery rate of 67.61%, and a fluorite concentrate with CaF2 grade of 93.22% and CaF2 recovery rate of 63.96%. Conclusion The scheelite, wolframite and fluorite resources in the mine were recovered effectively.
