    Study on the Technology of Purification for a Low-grade Potash Feldspar Ore

    • Through the analysis of the main mineral compositions in a potash feldspar ore the content of K2O + Na2O was7.47%. Directed at the ore characteristics, four types of iron removal test process of single magnetic separation, desliming-magnetic separation, flotation and desliming-magnetic separation-flotation were carried, among which the flotation process has the best result. The fine particle minerals containing iron were removed by reverse flotation with anion collector of sodium dodecyl sulfonate and sodium alkane sulfonate and it is possible to obtain qualified feldspar concentrates and quartz concentrates using HF method and dodecylamine collector. The results showed that the feldspar concentrate with the yield of 43.57%, Fe2O30.25%,K2O13.10%,Na2O0.21% and SiO266.77% and the quartz concentrate with the yield of 41.33%, Fe2O30.18% and SiO297.66% were obtained respectively.
