Experimental study on comprehensive recovery of the stone processing waste in Guangdong province

Abstract
By the research on the properties of stone processing waste in Guangdong Province, the main mineral composition and particle size characteristics of the stone processing waste were identified, and then the comprehensive recovery experimental study on valuable mineral of feldspar and quartz was carried out. The results show that new amphoteric collector named YOA has a good separation efficiency to remove iron mica impurities in alkaline medium, iron content in the waste was reduced from 1.46% to 0.78%, and whiteness value was improved from 40.10 to 51.40.By using magnetic separation underS1.5T magnetic strength, iron impurities in the concentrate products of flotation can be further removed, and iron content was further reduced to 0.38%( is 0.54%), whiteness was also further improved to 53.70, the quality of feldspar and quartz mixed concentrate meet the requirement of ceramic production, so the combination of flotation and magnetic separation can finish the comprehensive recovery of a stone processing waste in Guangdong province.
