Recycling Chromium from High-speed Steel Grinding Dust by Metal-thermic Process

The chromium was recycled from high-speed steel grinding dust by metal-thermic process in this paper.The technological process of recycling chromium was proposed based on analyzing the principle of smelting theregenerated alloy materials.The effect of reducing agent,fluorite,sodium nitrate and the unit thermal effect on the recovery were discussed,and the changes of silicon in the recycled alloy were also investigated.The result showed that the recycling process was practicable.When the grinding dust was ab...
