Abstract:
The vanadium-bearing steel slag is a secondary resource with high utilization value. This article provides a review on the recent progress of hydrometallurgical vanadium extraction from vanadium-containing steel slags, focusing on the four aspects: sodium roasting-leaching process, direct acid leaching, direct alkali leaching, purification and recovery, and finally points out the current research hotpots in this field. According to the research status and existing problems, some suggestions for future research directions are put forward to, so as to provide a reference for the development of a clean and efficient vanadium extraction process.
